Free Nursery Place Eligibility
The UK government offers several free childcare options, depending on your child’s age and your working status. You may qualify for any of the following schemes, with additional support expanding by September 2025:

15 Hours Free Childcare for 3 and 4-Year-Olds
A universal offer, open to everyone

30 Hours Free Childcare for Working Parents
For working parents who meet minimum earnings
If both parents (or a single parent in the case of lone-parent families) are working and earning at least the equivalent of 16 hours per week at the National Minimum Wage, you could be eligible for an additional 15 hours, bringing your total to 30 free hours per week.
-
15 Hours Free Childcare for 2-Year-Olds
